This is a masterpiece of not only of documentary filmmaking, storytelling but also of exquisite and delicate editing. It gives a wonderful insighful view into all aspects of opera production - conducting, singing, acting, staging, orchestra, sets, stagehands and all happening at the very highest levels. It is informative to a beginner and an utter delight to an afficionado.
