The Boomtown Rats are among the great voices of the British punk and new wave era, formed in Dublin in 1975 around Bob Geldof. After a long hiatus, they returned in 2013 and have since proven that taking a stand is timeless. Their current chapter combines classics with fresh energy, especially for their 50th anniversary.
