Besser is a founding member of the groundbreaking sketch group and Comedy Central series The Upright Citizens Brigade, and co-founder of the world-renowned UCB Theatre and training center — which has launched the careers of countless household names in comedy. He also co-authored The Upright Citizens Brigade Comedy Improv Manual, the definitive book on long-form improv. Filmed live at the 2026 Del Close Marathon.
