It's Time To Check Out.
A group of nine friends with 10 years of shared history falls apart in the hour-and-a-half before check out on the last day of an AirBnB group trip to Big Bear. SO funny and SO insanely human. Every single crashout was completely justified and also a feeling that is so relatable. Friendships are tricky and toxic and hard to manage and I absolutely love that there wasn't a satisfying 'everything is alright' ending because there often isnt in real life. I found so much love and joy in this piece, clearly written from a place of finding humor in the realest of scenarios.
