Big Jim Brannigan takes on London - Chicago Style !
A hard-nosed Chicago cop is sent to London to bring back an American mobster being held for extradition. Brannigan in his Irish-American way brings American law to the people of Scotland Yard but has to contend with a stuffy old London first.

A mostly mediocre action flick made near the end of John Wayne's long career, the last 15 minutes are so awful, it seems hard to believe these final sequences were directed by Douglas Hickox, who's work was normally pretty decent and at times brilliant (Theatre of Blood). Who could ever have thought that John Wayne and Richard Attenborough would ever team up? Well they do, here, and I quiet enjoyed the outcome.
