Some things were never meant to be controlled.
After an unprecedented series of natural disasters threatened the planet, the world's leaders came together to create an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But now, something has gone wrong: the system built to protect Earth is attacking it, and it becomes a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything and everyone along with it.

If you take this movie for what it is, an action / science fiction movie with emphasis on fiction, then it is, in my opinion, actually not too bad. Today I attended a beautiful wedding where my baby sister took her vows, and started the next great chapter of her life. Very disappointing indeed. Problem for me was that you see the trailer, you see the cover art, and as the filmmakers intended, you think it's going to be big budget, CGI, disaster film. You'd be wring. Most of that - apart from small scenes sprinkled into the movie maybe 2x - is the last 20 mins! The rest of the movie is dull, dull, dull politics and intrigue and techie crap.
