Fátima and Sueli return from their honeymoon and find a tense atmosphere. Tavares discusses his client's pension with Armane, and Jorge discovers Bia's secret.

Fátima and Sueli are going through their first difficulties in their marriage. To Armane's dismay, Fátima is terrible in the kitchen and Sueli can no longer stand living with Bia.

The couples Sueli and Jorge, and Fátima and Armane, feel their marital bonds faltering. Individualistic attitudes cause the two grown men to end up sleeping in the hallway.

An unexpected event interrupts Fatima and Sueli's plans: Chalita falls down the stairs and breaks his leg. They decide to help him while he rests, but end up without privacy.

Misunderstandings and financial issues cause problems at Djalma Noivas, La Conga, and Rei do Beirute. The whole mess starts when Sueli asks Djalma for a raise.

Lies and innuendo mark Mother's Day. The presence of Bia's mother in Sueli and Jorge's apartment generates many arguments. Armane, meanwhile, ends up behind bars.
